Silambarasan Rajendar born 3 February 1983, Silambarasan other names Simbu, or S. T. R., is a Tamil film actor who has also worked as a director, playback singer and songwriter. Silambarasan began his acting career as a child artist in films produced by his father T. Rajendar. Silambarasan successful films include Manmadhan, Vallavan, Silambattam and Vinnaithaandi 

Silambarasan was born to the director, music composer, actor, screenwriter and politician Vijaya T. Rajendar and former actress Usha Rajendar.
